Nothing wrong with 5th really, but 6th changed too much for my taste and it felt like it broke 30 years of backwards compatibility. So, 4th edition it is! For Champions, in this case.Blacksteelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16289298640828309072noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4999500110309022298.post-26894454662818150792012-04-17T18:51:53.705-05:002012-04-17T18:51:53.705-05:00As I've mentioned on my site, 4th Edition is m...As I've mentioned on my site, 4th Edition is my favorite and the one I am currently using to run our (near-weekly) Champions campaign.

I have never been able to get HeroMaker to work on any computer I have ever owned including my current one. No idea why.

My best guess is that it's some kind of plot by Mechanon.Adam Dicksteinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04840144928096089178noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4999500110309022298.post-63154450634725150862012-04-17T14:09:59.136-05:002012-04-17T14:09:59.136-05:00The best way to print from HeroMaker (even in the ...The best way to print from HeroMaker (even in the Windows 98 era) was to use one of the Postscript outputs, then use something like Ghostscript to convert it to a PDF.

For all I know, CutePDF may be able to do that now.Theronhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15816454819854018824noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4999500110309022298.post-35852471259347577482012-04-17T13:03:45.207-05:002012-04-17T13:03:45.207-05:00My hero maker still works on my Windows XP compute...My hero maker still works on my Windows XP computer, the problem is getting it communicate with printer. Which was a little dicey even back in the day, and has proven, for me anyway, outright impossible today.GrayPumpkinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12776658442266878498noreply@blogger.com
